This 4-year-old male Domestic Longhair is buff and white in color. Fig is considered a longhaired cat but before he came to the shelter, someone decided he would look better with a haircut. Having a haircut doesn't seem to have hurt his pride. His friendly demeanor encourages us humans to interact with him. He loves being scratched under the chin. During the times he's not enjoying moments of affection, he is inclined to find a good vantage point to watch the comings and goings of the world around him. This two-and-a-half-month old female Alaskan Husky is white and black in color and weighs 11 pounds. "Am I blue? Well, yes, since Azul means blue (like the color of my eyes) – I'm blue because I'm waiting to be adopted. I'm curious about the outside world and I'm ready to run, jump and play." This young playful pup is ready for her new "furever" home. Husky’s are typically affectionate with an affinity for snuggling. Azul would probably do best in a household with older children. A family that can provide opportunities to expend her energy reserves would be perfect. The chance to be enrolled in structured training would probably be beneficial as well.
