As businesses across Texas get ready to reopen Friday, it's important to remember many never closed. Their essential workers have kept life going for families across the country.

Leadership at Bridge Builders International Church, in northeast Arlington, wanted to show their appreciation for the workers.

Pastor Dr. Johnasen Pack has purchased and delivered pizza to employees at Elrod's Cost Plus twice in April.

"We love our community and we just wanted to show our support and appreciation to the essential workers who are a vital part of it," said Bridge Builders Executive Administrator LaTanya Cooper.

The church is currently hosting virtual services on its Facebook page.
