Dog of the Week – Meet Fiat
This five months old male Retriever mix is tan and white in color and weighs 21 pounds. Well, it's double up week this week again—we have two siblings being featured for pet of the week. Our first featured canine is a happy, fun loving dog. He is still learning how to be on his best behavior. His socialization skills are still being worked on. While working on those skills, he shows that he can be most entertaining—try hard not to laugh at him! This young dog would love to be adopted by an active family that could provide him ample opportunities to get out and about for exercise. Having been in the shelter for over a month, Fiat is really eager to be on your "short list" to adopt him. Earlier in the month both Fiat and his sibling (featured below) were treated for an upper respiratory infection giving them VIP status allowing them to be adopted at a reduced rate. Second Dog of the Week – Meet Brand
This five months old male Retriever mix is tan, white and black in color and weighs 25 pounds. Yes, this is the second of the two siblings featured this week. Much like his brother, Brand is also a fun loving dog with the other same attributes as his sibling. Growing up in a shelter is not the ideal place for these young dogs. They should be playing in a yard or cuddling on a couch. It would be ideal if the two of them could be adopted together (that is what they would vote for!); however, they can be adopted separately. Dogtober is nearly over with all adoption fees reduced to $10. If you miss out on Dogtober, as mentioned previously, the adoption fee is reduced for these two guys due to having achieved VIP status.
