Municipal Court to Temporarily Relocate in Downtown Arlington Through Fall 2025

Municipal Court Relocation

The Arlington Municipal Court will temporarily be housed in a different Downtown location starting July 22, 2024. The move is necessary while the City of Arlington makes improvements to City Tower, which is home to the Municipal Court and other City offices.

For the next 18 months, all Municipal Court business will be conducted at the UTA Social Work Complex at 211 S. Cooper St., Building A.

Municipal Court visitors can find nearly 150 free public parking spaces in the lot north of the temporary court location. Visitors are asked to enter the parking lot from Abram Street, between Cooper and Lampe streets and park in the designated parking spaces for the court.

The City is leasing space at the Social Work Complex from The University of Texas at Arlington while its makes improvements that include the public restrooms, elevators, HVAC system and parking lots at City Tower, located at 101 S. Mesquite St. 
The Municipal Court’s business hours will remain 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday for court clerk customer services and payments.

Individuals can avoid the lines by going online to pay their citation at www.arlingtontx.gov/municipalcourt. For citation information, please contact the Court at (817) 459-6777 or by email city warrant questions to: [email protected].

Individuals with outstanding City of Arlington violations have a variety of options to pay their citations:

ONLINE: www.arlingtontx.gov/municipalcourt. There will be an additional service fee for this payment option.

BY PHONE: Payments may be made in full by calling GPS at 1-888-604-7888 pay location #1120. GPS will charge an additional service fee for this option.

BY MAIL: Arlington Municipal Court: PO Box 90403, Mail Stop 63-0100, Arlington, Texas 76004

IN PERSON: Arlington Municipal Court, temporarily relocated to 211 S. Cooper St. starting July 22, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
