The Mansfield Independent School District is hosting its second annual Back-to-School Bash next month to kick off the 2017-18 school year.
The bash will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 12 at the MISD Center for Performing Arts, 1110 W. Debbie Lane in Mansfield.
In addition to the activities and student performances, the event will feature free school supplies, free haircuts and health services, and information about community resources and local business products and services.
Backpacks stuffed with school supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis with a limit of four per family. Free health services will be provided to students. The services include, but are not limited to: sports physicals, immunizations, eyes exams and glasses, haircuts and dental sealants. Please brings your child's shot records to take part in the free immunizations. Shots are for uninsured patients only.
