The Heart of Art

The Arlington Museum of Art (AMA) showcases exciting and culturally significant exhibits that inspire and captivate visitors from all over the world. Located in downtown Arlington, the AMA is a staple of the city’s arts scene. The museum boasts a variety of exhibits on a rotating basis. Past exhibits include the art of Salvador Dalí, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Jackson Pollock. The AMA has also partnered with Arlington Independent School District to feature artwork by local students for an entire month every year. Stroll through the four floors of the museum and be stimulated, challenged, and enlightened.

Exploring the University of Texas at Arlington campus? The Gallery at UT Arlington is a must-see. Located in the Fine Arts building, The Gallery features eclectic artwork by renowned artists in a variety of mediums, including drawings, paintings, sculpture, and even performance art. Artwork by students in the Bachelor’s and Master of Fine Arts programs are featured throughout the year as well. Let the work of aspiring and innovative artists move you as you explore this impressive venue. Admission is free and The Gallery is open Monday through Saturday during the fall and spring semesters. Summer hours are by appointment only, and the museum is closed on university holidays.
