Follow Dr. King's footsteps and his travels to the seven continents of the world. Get your MLK Passport to diverse entertainment and samples of cultural foods on the Tarrant County College Southeast Campus, 2100 Southeast Pkwy.

7:30 p.m. - An Evening of Spoken Word

This competition intensifies with a $1,000 cash prize to the winning poet. UT Arlington Bluebonnet Ballroom, 300 W. First St.

6 p.m. - Sharing the Dream - Hubert Moss Memorial Ecumenical Service

Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church, 801 E. Mayfield Road, hosts this year's celebration service featuring keynote speaker the Rev. Dr. Richard Allen Farmer, a pianist, concert artist, author and pastor. Holiday reception immediately follows the service hosted by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
