UTA Spotlight: Students Make Memories at Oozeball, Texas Autocross Weekend

Greetings from The American Dream City! Be sure to tune into the newest installment of UTA Spotlight, a weekly news update featuring broadcasting students reporting on events, projects, announcements and other key news and happenings on the university campus and around Arlington.

This week's stories:

  • On Friday, Sept. 28, UTA held its 30th annual "Oozeball" tournament, which brought hundreds of students together to play a muddy game of volleyball.
  • UTA's autocross team hosted the 18th annual Texas Autocross Weekend from Sept. 29 to Sept. 30, participating with the car that it designed and built.
  • The College of Architecture, Planning, and Public Affairs held a meeting on Thursday, Sept. 27 to discuss the worldwide shortage of fresh water and what people can do to make a difference.
