It's no surprise that Arlington, the 48th largest city in the country, is a diverse community. One place the city's cultural diversity is most evident is through its unique cuisine.

Travel writer A. Rochaun Meadows-Fernandez, who grew up in the Arlington area, recently spotlighted some fantastic restaurants who make their home in The American Dream City in her article, "Arlington, TX, might just have the coolest food scene you've never heard of. Here's proof."

MyArlingtonTV has featured two of the restaurant's on the list: Prince Lebanese Grill and Jamaica Gates.

"Arlington has a surprisingly huge variety of ingredients, recipes, and cooking traditions, thanks - at least in part - to the international appeal of the University of Texas at Arlington, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Texas Rangers," Meadows-Fernandez writes. "It's a legit melting pot."
