Public Meeting Notice

Arlington residents who live near the intersection of North Center Street and East Randol Mill Road will benefit from the replacement of 3,260 feet, or a little over a 1/2-mile, of sanitary sewer mains in 2019 as part of the Johnson Creek (Center to Collins) Sanitary Sewer Improvements project. In anticipation of the upcoming construction kickoff, Arlington Water Utilities will hold a public information meeting for property owners and tenants in the area from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, on the 3rd floor of Arlington City Hall, 101 W. Abram St.

A short presentation at 6 p.m. will provide information about the construction activity and the project schedule. In addition, representatives from the City of Arlington and the project contractor, Flow-Line Construction, Inc., will be available to answer questions.

Replacements will take place on Roosevelt Street, Thannisch Drive, Center Street, and Altman Drive. The project will extend the life of the public facilities, reduce maintenance costs, and improve service to these areas. Planned improvements were identified in the City's 2016 Wastewater Master Plan.
