Lights at Interlochen 2023

The Lights at Interlochen, one of the largest and longest running holiday traditions in North Texas, is back for the 2023 season! Each year, more than 200 homeowners in this northwest Arlington neighborhood celebrate the season by decorating their homes with festive lights and holiday-themed displays. Admission is free. The public is invited to drive through the neighborhood from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. each night, December 15, 2023 – December 25, 2023. Click here to learn more. 

Winter Movie Series

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the hilarious Christmas classic, "Elf"! For decades, this movie has brought joy and laughter to households all over the world and, on Thursday, Dec. 21st at 7 p.m., to the Arlington Music Hall too! Bring your friends and families to a night at the music hall as we usher in the holidays, clad in green and yellow with shoes that curl to the heavens. Don't be a cotton-headed ninny muggins and purchase your tickets today! Doors open at 5 p.m. and admission is just $5, so grab your syrup-coated spaghetti and get ready for a night of holiday fun.

Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas

Celebrate the magic of the season during Holiday in the Park where Six Flags Over Texas will transform into a festive wonderland complete with millions of lights, scrumptious holiday treats, and classic live entertainment! Click here for more information. It runs through New Years’ Day. 

José Guadalupe Posada: Legendary Printmaker of Mexico

Experience the artistry of José Guadalupe Posada, a visionary illustrator whose legacy is perhaps the most influential of all Mexican artists but whose name was almost lost to history. Forever Forest Visiting Exhibit 

Forever Forest by Omaha Children’s Museum, is an immersive exhibit that teaches families how their everyday lives are connected to forests through the ways they live, work, and play. Families will enjoy hands-on activities focused on forest life and sustainable harvesting. Visit the River Legacy Nature Center to explore the forest like never before. Climb, crawl and slide on treetops, become a conductor for a day and work a kid-sized replica of a Union Pacific engine, or work together to build a house as you learn about the many things wood is used for! The exhibit runs through Saturday, Feb. 10, 2023.

Texas Christkindl Market

In its 13th year, the Texas Christkindl Market, presented by Reliable Commercial Construction, is a free, family friendly market in Arlington featuring a unique shopping experience for holiday gifts, decorations, and one-of-a-kind finds. This year's event is scheduled from Nov. 24 through Dec. 23, 2023, at the North Plaza at Globe Life Field. Click here to learn more.

Stadium Smash Pickleball Experience 

An epic pickleball experience in America’s most iconic sports venues. Dallas Cowboys Holiday Youth Camps

‘Tis the season! Registration is now open for 2023 Dallas Cowboys Holiday Youth Camps presented by Invisalign 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22 and Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023. Athletes ages 6-16 can enjoy a one-day Football or Dance Camp at AT&T Stadium.

Jared's Epic Blaster Battle: Holiday Edition 2 at AT&T Stadium 

Jared's Epic Blaster Battle has been holding family-friendly events at AT&T Stadium for 8 years and counting. JEBB is the current Guinness World Record Holder for "Largest Toy Pistol Fight" since 2016. It takes place 6-10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2023. For our Holiday Edition Event, we will have an all-new theme, music, special guests, and special battles! Join team red or team green and get ready to have a blast on the climate-controlled turf of the Cowboys!

Pet Adoptions

Join Arlington Animal Services mobile adoption truck will be at The Highlands PetSmart with furry friends to meet 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023. Stop by to visit with an adoptable pet to get some pet therapy and possibly a forever friend. Cannot make it to the event? Sunday Brunch

Ventana Grille at the Tierra Verde Golf Club clubhouse is now serving brunch from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each Sunday. Menu items include four savory Eggs Benedict entrées, Shrimp-N-Grits, Ginger Salmon, and our favorite - Napoleon's Last Meal, a buttermilk fried chicken breast over bourbon french toast and served with maple syrup!
