Woman on virtual conference

The Junior League of Arlington is excited to announce the 2021 Power Play Conference, a career development day-long conference for women being held virtually on Saturday, May 1.

The 2021 Power Play Conference will provide women with a day of learning and networking with industry professionals, local leaders and entrepreneurs. Attendees will have their choice of attending a Career Development Track or an Entrepreneur Track. Both learning tracks will offer learning sessions with leading professionals in their field and are aimed to empower women to take their careers to the next level. One hundred percent of ticket proceeds will be donated to Girls, Inc. of Tarrant County, allowing for the empowerment and development of the next generation of female leaders.

“This event is such a great opportunity to connect with a community of women entrepreneurs and professionals that are ready to grow and win! Furthermore, [it’s a great way to] support our local community partner Girls, Inc of Tarrant County to develop and inspire our future generation of leaders through their mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold,” says JLA Education Chair, Alaina Johnson.

“In addition to promoting voluntarism, the Junior League mission is focused on developing the potential of women. Our Power Play conference goes hand in hand with our goal of developing the potential of women which helps us build better communities,” Junior League of Arlington President Jamie Burchfield explains.

The virtual conference will be held on Saturday, May 1 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The schedule of events and list of speakers can be found by clicking here. Tickets are on sale now for $15.
