Eryn Brandon-Pollard, a senior on Bowie High School’s basketball team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for November 2024.

Brandon-Pollard is one of the best defensive players in the district, as she was named District Defensive Player of the Year her junior year as well as Academic All-District. 

“One of the best parts of coaching Eryn is she is such a great student,” said Katrin Robinson, Bowie High School’s Head Girls Basketball Coach. “She’s very serious about her grades, and that’s one of the first things she told me when I got here.”

Brandon-Pollard plans to continue her basketball career in college where she plans to study to become a veterinarian.
