Dog of the Week - Meet Bodie
This three months old male Shepherd mix is brindle and white in color and weighs 24 pounds. Last week Bodie was celebrating "Howl-O-Ween" in a chicken waffle costume hoping to catch the eye of a new pet guardian. No one took the bait so Bodie is starting a new month eager to find his "furever" home. At just three months old, he’s been in the shelter for over two weeks, showing off his adorable personality as he warms up to everyone around him. This sweet pup knows how to sit, is curious about treats (even if he isn’t super motivated by them), and truly shines when he’s getting affection from his animal care friends. While he’s a bit timid in the shelter environment, he’s more than ready to find a cozy, loving home where he can feel safe and let his personality blossom. Bodie has been assigned VIP status, with a reduced adoption fee, due to the length of time he's spent in the shelter. Meet Bodie at Dog Adoptions (DA) 5, his ID number is A57111851.
Second Dog of the Week - Meet Rory
This three and a half years old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is blue and white in color and weighs 44 pounds. Check out this confident lady also sporting the adorable chicken waffle costume! She’s been at the shelter just a day longer than Bodie and has already shown she’s full of life and love. As a mature pooch she’s quick to sit and soak up affection, preferring snuggles over treats (though she’ll eat them if she must!). Rory enjoys time out of her kennel and does well on the leash, with just a little room for improvement. She’s ready for a loving home where she can continue to show her big heart and even bigger personality! VIP status has also been bestowed on Rory for length of time in the shelter. Meet Rory in Dog Adoptions (DA) 6, her ID number is A57109806.
Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
