Texas Rangers Announce Details for Final Homestand of the 2024 Season

The Texas Rangers return home for the final homestand of the season, a six-game stint against the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners.

Kumar Rocker is scheduled to make his home debut on Sept. 19 vs. the Toronto Blue Jays. The former third-overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft made his MLB debut Sept. 12 against the Mariners in Seattle, allowing just one run over four innings pitched. Jacob deGrom is the Rangers’ expected starter on Sept. 20 vs. the Seattle Mariners, which would signify his first appearance at Globe Life Field since April 28, 2023.

Throughout the stretch, the Rangers are packed with celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Month, recognition for Second Baseman Marcus Semien’s prestigious Roberto Clemente Award nomination, plus highlighting the incredible work players and their wives have done to support the community and beyond. 
The Texas Rangers Poster Series, presented by Chick-Fil-A finale will spotlight Adolis García – fans can purchase a poster designed by Dallas artist Hatziel Flores for $30 or snag a special edition poster signed by Adolis Garcia for $200 at the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation room behind section 110. Proceeds will benefit the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and charity of Adolis Garcia’s choice.

 Pre-Game Presentation: Second Baseman Marcus Semien will receive the Roberto Clemente Award as the Texas Rangers nominee in the annual recognition of a Major League player who best represents the game of Baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy, and positive contributions, both on and off the field. Last Chance Night: This is a sold-out event. Each Theme Night ticket purchase will come with one premium item of the following: a Stars, Mavs, FC Dallas, or Cowboys City Connect Jersey, a World Series Champions Topps Trading Card, the Seager, Adolis, or Carter Collectible Pin, and lastly, a World Series Replica Ring (Bochy and Jung available + others). The rings will be picked up at the kiosk only, and all other items will be picked up at Barrel Up.

Texas Rangers Poster Series, presented by Chick-Fil-A: Fans can purchase a limited-edition poster designed by Dallas-based contemporary artist Hatziel Flores for $30 at the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation Room behind section 110. Flores was born in Mexico City and has been creating art since he was very young. His diverse collections consist of explosive mixed media paintings portraying the beauty found within chaos, balancing realism, stylization, and fantasy. A limited number of posters will be available throughout the homestand while supplies last, with proceeds benefitting the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and charity of Adolis Garcia’s choice. Fans can also purchase a special edition poster signed by Adolis Garcia for $200 and will be sold through Sunday, September 22 or until supplies last.

Family Fun Tuesday, presented by Coca-Cola: Every Tuesday home game in 2024, fans can access significant savings on tickets, parking, and concessions, plus kids 13 and under can meet Rangers players during pre-game autograph sessions, presented by Golden Chick, near section 223 starting at 5:30 p.m. For more information on future Family Fun Tuesdays, visit rangers.com/familyfun.

Los Rangers: The Texas Rangers will relaunch its Los Rangers Brand on its social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X), which is meant to authentically engage Texas Rangers fans within the Hispanic/Latinx community, specifically, the Mexican American & Chicano community of the North Texas region.

Viva Tejas, presented by Teremana Tequila: Viva Tejas is a Free post-game event series that celebrates Hispanic culture and brings our fans together throughout the season. There will be a dynamic performance by Dallas-Fort Worth's renowned salsa group Havana NRG, and savor delicious offerings from local Hispanic food vendors.

Faces of Freedom: Each month, the Texas Rangers and American Airlines recognize three members of the military, active or retired. Prior to the start of the Rangers – Mariners game, the presentation will honor Fire Control Technician, Second Class US Navy, Haley Vega Goad.
