Texas Christkindl Market

Nov. 24 – Dec. 23, 2023

In its 13th year, the Texas Christkindl Market, presented by Reliable Commercial Construction, is a free, family friendly market in Arlington featuring a unique shopping experience for holiday gifts, decorations, and one-of-a-kind finds. Miracle at Live!

An over-the-top holiday pop-up experience unlike any other. Located inside Miller Tavern at Texas Live! The Light Park

Now – Jan. 1, 2024

The most exciting and electrifying Light Show south of the North Pole! Head out to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor for the most exciting drive through light show at The Light Park. Holiday in the Park

Nov. 19 – Dec. 31, 2023

Holiday in the Park®, returns to Six Flags Over Texas. Bask in wondrous holiday enchantment for the entire family, featuring visits with Santa, the new Nutcrackers on Parade, s’mores around a campfire, and more. Holiday in the Park will take place weekends and select weekdays now through Dec. 31, 2023. 

Downtown Arlington’s Letters to Santa

Dec. 1, 2023

Save the date for Downtown Arlington Texas' Letters to Santa event on Friday, Dec. 1 at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library! The post master from Arlington's Downtown Post Office will dress up as Santa and librarians from the Arlington Public Library's George W. Hawkes Downtown Library will dress up as elves to help kids write letters to Santa.

A Christmas Carol: The Radio Show

Dec. 1 -17, 2023

Theatre Arlington presents A Christmas Carol: The Radio Show starting Friday, Dec. 1, 2023. It’s Christmas Eve, and with the actors snowed in and unable to make it to the studios of WXMS for the live radio performance of A Christmas Carol, the sound effects person decides to take the audience through the classic tale himself. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays; then 2:00 p.m. Sundays. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, showtime is 2:00 p.m. due to the Arlington Holiday Lights Parade. More information and ticket prices can be found on the Theatre Arlington website.

Old Towne Christmas Craft Fair

The much-loved 24th Annual Olde Town Christmas Craft Fair hosted by Dottie Lynn Recreation Center is back on Saturday, December 2 from 9 AM – 5 PM! Join us for photos with Santa, Craft Stations, treats, and more as you enjoy some holiday shopping with the family. A wide variety of local vendors will offer handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces, so you’re sure to find something you love!

Kringle Village

Claus & Paws

Dec. 8, 2023

Bring your best-dressed pets and take a picture with Santa himself at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center! Call or register online to secure your spot. Dottie Lynn staff will contact and confirm your time slot. Pictures are scheduled every 5 minutes starting at 6:30 p.m. Click here to register. 

Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony

Dec. 9, 2023

Are you ready to kick off the holiday festivities with one of Arlington’s biggest celebrations! The Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting in Downtown Arlington will be Saturday, Dec.9. All the fun starts at 2 p.m., at the Arlington Public Library's George W. Hawkes Downtown Library with Reindeer Games and pictures with Santa. There will also be pre-parade entertainment at Founders Plaza before the Holiday Lights Parade kicks off at 6 p.m., followed by the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 7 p.m. After the ceremony, enjoy live music and another opportunity to take pictures with Santa at Levitt Pavilion Arlington.

Photos With Santa

Bring your camera and smile big for Santa as he makes a special visit to The Beacon Recreation Center for some seasonal snapshots! Photo slots will begin at 10 AM and end by noon. Register online to secure your time slot. The cost is $5. All ages welcome! Click here to register. 

Pancakes & Pajamas (50+ yrs)

Dec. 12, 2023

Seniors, join in on the holiday fun at East Library and Recreation Center by having breakfast with us in your favorite PJs! We will serve pancakes, orange juice, and play festive games together from 9:30 - 11 a.m. We will also have the opportunity to donate pajamas to those who are less fortunate through the Pajamas For Seniors organization. Interlochen Lights

Dec. 15 – 25, 2023

The Lights at Interlochen, one of the largest and longest running holiday traditions in North Texas, is back for the 2023 season. Each year, more than 200 homeowners in this northwest Arlington neighborhood celebrate the season by decorating their homes with festive lights and holiday-themed displays. Admission is free. The public is invited to drive through the neighborhood from 6 to 11 p.m. each night.

Cookies with the Clauses

Dec. 16, 2023

The Clauses are in town and they’re visiting East Library and Recreation Center on December 16 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Everyone is invited to come decorate cookies, play festive games, and make some holiday crafts with Mr. and Mrs. Claus at this special holiday event.
