Dog of the Week – Hopper

This one year, one month old male Rottweiler mix is black and tan in color and weighs 48 pounds. Take a look at that handsome dog in the photo with the blue scarf. How could you possibly pass up adopting him? This special canine has been selected as one of our Doggy Day Out candidates. This designation allows him to spend some quality time with one of our volunteers outside of the shelter, kind of like a field trip. A break from shelter life seems to do wonders for our shelter inhabitants. Only thing better would be for someone to step up and adopt Hopper. Second Dog of the Week – Meet Toodles

This nearly one year, six months old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is white and tan in color and weighs 65 pounds. As we continue "Dogtober", dog adoptions are still being offered for $10 so don't pass up the opportunity to adopt this cute canine. Toodles is a lively dog that enjoys her activities in the play yard with her volunteer friends. She would really like to be adopted and have a play yard (and a family) to call her very own. VIP status has been bestowed on Toodles due to her needing to hone her skills with leash training. A family willing to spend some time working on her obedience skills will surely be rewarded.
