2023 Independence Day Closings and Service Schedules in Arlington

Many City of Arlington municipal offices and facilities will be closed Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

Residential and commercial garbage and recycling collection will not occur on Tuesday, July 4. Residential collections will resume the next regular collection day, trash on Friday, July 7, and recycling on Tuesday, July 11. Commercial collections resume on Wednesday, July 5.

Regular office hours and service schedules will resume at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 5.

  • Bad Könighofen Family Aquatic Center, noon to 6 p.m.
  • Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center, noon to 6 p.m.
  • Howard Moore Play Pool, noon to 6 p.m.
  • The Beacon Recreation Center and splash pad, noon to 4 p.m.
  • Arlington Tennis Center, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • California Lane Park Splash Pad, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Brantley Hinshaw Park Splash Pad, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Don Misenhimer Park Splash Pad, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
