Dog of the Week – Meet Snoopy
This two-year, one-month-old male Alaskan husky mix is tan and black in color and weighs 54 pounds. While our in house Snoopy may not be looking for a dog house to sleep on top of, he is looking for a new family to adopt him and provide him a safe, warm place to sleep. Prepare to be mesmerized by his eyes that are a standout feature. He is such a fun dog with a fun loving personality. Snoopy is a VIP animal due to his time in the shelter. He has recently been moved to our dog isolation area as we observed him with upper respiratory symptoms and he is receiving appropriate medical treatment. While he can't be taken outside to play, prospective adopters can still meet him. By adopting Snoopy (available at a reduced adoption fee) you can help the shelter meet its goal of completing 200 adoptions by May 6. Snoopy is in Dog Isolation (D-ISO) 2, and his ID number is A52299066.
Second Dog of the Week – Meet Jetta
This four-year, one-month-old female pit bull terrier mix is tan and white in color and weighs 39 pounds. Energy--check! Fun loving--check! Hanging out with "hoomans"--check! Just like her name that means "jet stream" in German, Jetta likes to burn off energy in the play yard. Once she settles down, she is ready to enjoy your company and does well on leash. She would probably benefit from some structured training but she has mastered "sit" for treats. She loves to strut her stuff and is just waiting for her "furever" family. Due to her amount of time in the shelter, Jetta has been granted VIP status with a reduced adoption fee. Come adopt this sweetheart of a dog and write the next chapter of her life. Meet Jetta at Dog Adoptions (DA) 5, her ID number is A52253450.
Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
