City of Arlington Parks and Recreation and Go Ape, the nation’s premier Zipline & Adventure Park company, announced that two brand new zipline and ropes courses will open to the public on Friday, March 3, at River Legacy Park East. Go Ape will bring a variety of exciting outdoor activities to Arlington’s foremost recreation hub, including epic ziplines over the majestic Trinity River.
"Partnering with Go Ape, the premier zipline and ropes course vendor in the U.S., is an exciting opportunity to provide a thrilling outdoor experience for Arlington residents and visitors alike and gives us the chance to showcase our parks system from a new vantage point," Parks and Recreation Director James Orloski said. "We can't wait to see the smiles as adventure-seekers soar through the skies!"
Go Ape will offer three unique activities for guests to explore the beautiful River Legacy Park East, including the Treetop Adventure, a three-hour high-ropes course featuring spectacular views. This experience includes 60+ aerial crossings and obstacles, a massive Tarzan swing, and multiple thrilling ziplines over the Trinity River. The Treetop Journey course is a fun-filled one-hour experience including 30 obstacles and two ziplines, all while 20 feet above the ground. Safety systems ensure participants stay attached the entire time they are on either course.
