Arlington Parks Welcomes in their New Recreation Center with New Membership Packages
With more offerings comes more options! Arlington Parks is excited to unveil brand new membership packages with the opening of The Beacon Recreation Center.
Patrons can choose from three different membership levels, Blue, Green, or Gold. Along with the new membership options, membership categories have also expanded to now include youth, teen, young adult and family options.
“We are thrilled to bring more variety not only in what we will be offering amenity and program wise, but also in our membership packages to better serve the needs of our community.” stated Greg Guse, The Beacon Recreation Center Manager.
The Blue membership package is the basic package for The Beacon and includes access to the gym, track, and splash pad at The Beacon, plus open swim and lap swim at East (set to open this fall). The Green package builds on the Blue and includes the weight equipment. The Gold is the top level building onto the Green to include fitness classes and kids club.
As an example of the new price structure, a young adult resident on auto-draft would pay $14 for Blue, $19 for Green, and $27 for Gold a month. Non-residents are able to get a membership as well at a slightly higher cost. An additional $8 a month is added to the membership cost for a month to month payment option. Click here to see the full membership options available.
Visitors must be 18 or older to sign up for a membership or day pass. A day pass at The Beacon is $8 and gives you Gold member access. Family memberships are anyone living under the same roof up to 5 people. Additional family members will purchase individual packages based on age.
Along with the new membership role out, Arlington Parks is doing away with their Annual Membership Fee. This transition will allow for residents and non residents to easily sign up to participate in our programs with no additional fees required.
Staff is available to answer calls at The Beacon, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., 817-575-8340. Walk-ins are not allowed at this time as it’s still an active construction site until Grand Opening on Monday, September 14.
Once we open, Arlington Parks encourages existing members to come see and try the facility. Any user who just has the current Annual Membership to use the gym will need to buy a guest pass or the new monthly membership package.
The new East Arlington Library and Recreation Center, set to open this fall, will be adopting this new membership structure and all other centers will transition to this new structure starting January 1, 2021.
Don’t miss The Beacon’s two Grand Opening Specials:
- Any joining member who selects the auto-draft option will get the month of September FREE. The first draft will be October 1, 2020.
- Buy 2 get 1 month FREE for any joining member who selects the month-to-month option. (one set only, must purchase by Sep 30)
