Join Theatre Arlington in Downtown this season as they Honor the Past with this classic treasure by beloved American playwright, Moss Hart. Light Up the Sky was Theatre Arlington's very first production back in 1973 followed by another successful staging in 1987. The hilarious action in this backstage comedy takes place in the hotel room of Miss Livingston prior to the opening of a new play being produced in Boston, and features a cast of colorful characters. The opening night doesn't seem to go too well and all believe the show to be a flop and turn against each other. The tables are turned; however, when it turns out that the reviews are favorable and hilarity ensues, with crackling Moss Hart wit.
