H&M, a fast-fashion retailer known for its affordable clothing, is just one of the many new exciting additions at The Parks at Arlington mall.
The nearly 20,000-square-foot store is expected to open in August, just in time for back-to-school shopping, said Lorie Lisius, the mall's Senior General Manager. H&M, which is still under construction, will be located on the lower level of the mall near Macy's.
"We want to keep offering fresh and exciting businesses for our local shoppers as well as those who are visitors to our city," Lisius said. "This H&M will be the only location in Arlington and has been highly anticipated by The Parks' shoppers."
Other mall additions include:
Do you love puzzles and mysteries? Then Breakout Arlington is for you! The entertainment venue, which opened in March, allows participants to follow clues and solve puzzles to escape from a room before the clock runs out. The Parks' location features four different themed "escapes," including an art heist.
With more than 2,800 stores in Japan and more than 4,000 worldwide, Daiso is often referred to as "the Japanese dollar store." With products such as Kawaii stationery, origami paper, bento boxes, sensu fans and lucky cat ornaments, Daiso offers shoppers a taste of Japanese culture. This store, set to open in May between Nordstrom Rack and DSW Shoes, will be more than 8,000 square feet.
Looking for ready-to-wear ladies' apparel, accessories and shoes? Wave is set to open a 6,800-square-foot store on the upper level next to Sears this summer.
The Parks is one of The American Dream City's major economic engines, generating strong sales tax revenue that allows the City to strengthen its neighborhoods and help pay for police and fire, parks, libraries and other core services.
"The Parks at Arlington is a leader in the 20-plus community of malls in the Dallas-Forth area, ranking in the top 4 for traffic and sales," Lisius said. "The Parks continues to show strong sales growth and even exceeded the industry average sales increase this past Christmas holiday shopping season. We have a diverse customer base and a diverse offering of dining, shopping and entertainment."
Breakout joins a growing lineup of entertainment options at the mall, which already includes AMC 18, Ice at the Parks, a children's carousel, the children's soft play area and Round 1 Bowling and Entertainment.
"The Parks at Arlington prides itself in offering an outstanding environment and experience for shopping and entertainment options for the entire family. There is plenty to do, see, shop and eat to make The Parks a day-long excursion for the family. It is one more option in the Arlington's line up of great family fun," Lisius said.
