The annual Art on the Greene Art Festival returns to Arlington's Entertainment District next month.
The 6th annual art festival, scheduled for May 26 to May 28 at Richard Greene Linear Park, will feature more than 100 national, regional and local artists showcasing and selling their work. Visitors are invited to take a stroll through the park to see booth after booth of one-of-a-kind works in ceramic, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, photography and so much more.
"One of the goals of Art on the Greene is to bring fine art artists and fine art collectors together in one location. Art on the Greene features artists from across the country that come into Arlington to sell and showcase their work over the three days," said Arlington artist Steve Moya, who organizes the event.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to enjoy a weekend of live performances from 10 national, regional and local bands. This year's event features some of the best tribute bands paying homage to bands such as KISS, Heart, U2, Fleetwood Mac and Foreigner.
Art on the Greene will feature a variety of food vendors as well as craft beer and wine. No outside food or drinks will be allowed at the festival.
Admission and parking is free. Parking will be available in Lot J of the Globe Life Park at Arlington with overflow parking available in Lot B.
