On April 22 & 23, 2016, the Blues descend upon UTA Maverick Stadium in Arlington as concert goers will experience the first ever Blues festival in The American Dream City.
"When the City of Arlington's branding name Arlington, The American Dream City, was announced, the words 'Dream City' instantly jumped out at me and I knew that was the name for this event," said Dream City Blues Festival founder Steve Moya.
Dream City Blues Festival brings a new experience that will attract Blues lovers from all over DFW and beyond into Arlington, making the city a destination for music.
The festival will feature live performances on one main stage over the two days. "We are excited to bring seven top blues musicians to Arlington," said Moya.
Concert goers will be able to purchase tickets to experience the performances from many different views: General Admission, Party Tent, VIP Tent, Reserved Seating and Premium Reserved Seating. General Admission tickets start at $20 and all tickets are available through UTATickets.com.
Dream City performers range from the 2015 International Blues Challenge winner to a Blues legend that has been performing since the mid 1970's. The musicians span 40 years of musical talent and provide a broad style of Blues music. Whether you've been a fan of the Blues for many years or are new to it, the continual growth and education of the Blues is important to keeping it alive.
Concert goers will be able to enjoy more than just music at the event. The festival will have food vendors serving everything from BBQ to Gyros. The festival market place will be an eclectic shopping area filled with unique vendors selling everything from art/crafts to commercial products. Vendor opportunities are still available for both the food and market place areas. All vendor details can be found on the event website dreamcitybluesfest.com.
Dream City Blues Festival has key sponsorships available for corporate and small businesses looking to brand their name or product in front of thousands of concert goers. For more information on sponsorship please call Steve Moya at (817) 797-2424.
