Friends of Arlington Animal Services (FAAS) hosted a Valentails event on Saturday, February 11. While the event was full of family fun, more importantly 21 shelter animals found new homes.
Volunteers, known as "Valentails matchmakers,' worked at Arlington Animal Services (AAS) from open to close helping people find adoptable dogs and cats that were the best fit for their families and lifestyles. Face painting was offered and FAAS provided raffle prizes at the festive event.
Golden PAWS senior volunteers received $90 in donations from their handcrafted items made in support of the shelter animals.
The Valentails event would not have been complete without special Valentine photos made possible by Respect A Bull, Inc. and the artistic talent of Roderick Cordova Photography.
A goodie basket was donated by Wagtime Doggie Day Care Center and Norman's Hallmark presented a beautiful fragrance lamp with a bottle of fragrance oil.
Nature's Select Pet Food of Fort Worth donated pet food with each pet adopted and supplied shelter animals with food.
Special thanks to all community partner volunteers and to everyone that contributed to make the Valentails event such a great success.
