Other events included a similar tailgate party at Tarrant Community College's southeast Campus where 70 trees were planted and a school-wide assembly at Amos Elementary School where all 600 children were given a tree seedling to take home and plant. The program ended Jan. 24, 2011, with 400 trees planted that day around the city including 45 in Dr. Robert Cluck Linear Park which runs along Johnson Cree just west of AT&T Stadium.
Partners in the program included Texas AgriLife Extension, Texas Forest Service, Dallas Cowboys, Environmental Protection Agency, Tarrant Community College Southeast Campus, Arlington Thunder Pop Warner League, the Boy Scouts, Oncor, Texas Trees Foundation and the NFL Environmental Program.
