Construction Detour To Begin for Debbie Lane/Ragland Road At SH 360

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, on the Debbie Lane/Ragland Road intersection at SH 360 as part of the SH 360 South Project.

To allow for construction of the new crossover bridge, crossover access at Debbie Lane/Ragland Road will be closed at SH 360. Traffic will be detoured directly north and south of the current crossover to the newly constructed detour turnarounds, allowing traffic to continue in either direction on SH 360 from the intersection.

Construction of the new bridge is expected to take six to nine months to complete. Once construction of the new crossover bridge is complete, construction of the new SH 360 main lanes can take place without interfering with the intersection traffic.

DETOUR FOR SOUTHBOUND SH 360 OR DEBBIE LANE ACCESS:

Motorists on westbound Ragland Road proceeding southbound on SH 360 or westbound on Debbie Lane will make a right turn onto the northbound SH 360 frontage road, exit left onto the detour and enter back onto the southbound SH 360 frontage road. Drivers will then have a signalized intersection to continue on southbound SH 360 or turn right onto Debbie Lane.

DETOUR FOR NORTHBOUND SH 360 OR RAGLAND ROAD ACCESS:

Motorists on eastbound Debbie Lane proceeding northbound on SH 360 or eastbound on Ragland Road will make a right turn, exit left onto the detour and enter back onto the northbound SH 360 frontage road. Drivers will have a signalized intersection and can either continue on northbound SH 360 or turn right onto Ragland Road.

About the SH 360 South Project

The SH 360 South Project is a $330 million design-build construction project in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) and the North Central Texas Council of Governments and local cities and counties to improve mobility, enhance safety and connect communities. Once complete, the toll road will be operated by NTTA.

Beginning in fall 2015, the 9.7-mile project will stretch from Green Oaks Boulevard to US 287. The project will provide through lanes that will improve mobility throughout the rapidly developing corridor in addition to improving traffic flow for local businesses and residents along the SH 360 frontage roads. Construction is anticipated to be complete in late 2017. Construction management for the design-build project is led by the Lane | Abrams Joint Venture.
