Dallas Vietnamese Radio celebrated its new location and new name this month.
The station, now known as HL RadioTV 106.5 FM and 30.6 TV, bills itself as the first FM RadioTV station to serve the Vietnamese community in North Texas 24/7. Community leaders and members attended the grand opening Friday, May 5 at the station's new location at 1818 E. Pioneer Parkway, Suite 176, in the Ben Thanh Plaza in east Arlington.
Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams congratulated the HLRadioTV team.
"It's great to see local businesses thriving and this new location will help better serve the community," Williams said.
HL RadioTV 106.5FM Dallas programs include simultaneous up-to-date newscasts from cities such as Dallas, Houston, Santa Ana and San Jose, California five times weekdays and local radio programs weekdays and weekends. Other topics include community development, contemporary and classical music, sports, Entertainment, Travel, health, law, and exclusive interviews with government and private officials.

Dallas Vietnamese Radio was formerly located at 2202 New York Avenue in east Arlington.
