Community service and the spirit of giving are synonymous with Crouch Elementary school. Crouch collected Box Tops and canned dog and cat food for their "Crouch Crocodiles Care" community services project aimed at helping shelter animals.
Crouch students collected 229 cans of food and $100 from Box Tops. School social worker Helen Del Rio Carter said "this event was successful because of the great response we had from all of our students at Couch Elementary" and "they brought many cans of cat and dog food and continue to bring box tops to school every day."
Animal Services manager Chris Huff expressed appreciation for the generosity of the students and staff of Crouch for supporting the shelter animals.
