Kick off a new year of Naturally Fun Neighborhood (NFN) programs with us on Saturday, March 10 at River Legacy Parks with the 5th Annual Kite Festival at River Legacy Parks.
This family fun event, planned in partnership with the River Legacy Foundation, includes kite building workshops, stunt demonstrations, and contests for kites of every shape and size. The festival takes place from 10 am till 2 pm and the cost is $5 per participant.
The goal of NFN events is to bring together neighborhoods by offering free family-friendly events helping strengthen our community as a whole. Naturally, Fun Neighborhood programs give people the opportunity to get out and meet their neighbors while participating in a wide variety of activities that might not have been available to them previously.
This year's schedule of NFN events includes arts and crafts, campouts, fishing, tennis, water safety lessons and more. For information on the kite festival or any of our Naturally Fun Neighborhood programs visit naturallyfun.org.
