Anew class of officers were welcomed to the Arlington Police Department on Monday, February 6. The graduation for Class #44 was held at the MetroCenter of Fielder Road Baptist Church, where 18 recruits graduated.

The group included recent college graduates, teachers, and other professional careers.

After successfully completing 28 weeks of extensive training in the Academy, the new officers will now proceed into 18 weeks of police training with a Police Training Officer.

Special awards were given out to the following Officers:

Valedictorian - Officer Jessica Adams
Salutatorian - Officer Jace Huntley
Physical Fitness - Officer Andrei Ciurca
