"Ask Arlington" is a show dedicated to answering the questions you have about what's happening in our city.

This week's show features Parks and Recreation Director Lemuel Randolph, to answer your questions about the River Legacy trail extension, the opening of the recently renovated Texas Rangers Golf Club, progress on the future East Arlington Recreation Center and East Branch Library project and much more in The American Dream City.

The City of Arlington recently completed installation of two pedestrian bridges that will help extend the popular 7-mile River Legacy trail by another half-mile, stretching the path east to the Fort Worth city limits. The steel bridges - one that is 100 feet long and the other that is 140 feet long - span small tributaries running through the heavily wooded north Arlington park.

The City and Texas Rangers announced a new partnership in January to create the world's only Major League Baseball-branded golf course — the Texas Rangers Golf Club - which is scheduled to open this fall. This collaborative branding partnership, along with $24 million in course renovations, affords the opportunity to offer a destination golf course not only for residents but for visitors to the Rangers ballpark, Texas Live! and other attractions in Arlington's world-class Entertainment District.

These projects align with the Arlington City Council priorities to Champion Great Neighborhoods and Support Youth and Families.
