Congratulations to our June Volunteer of the Month, Edward Ricardez.
Ricardez has been a long time supporter of the Arlington Police Department and devoted volunteer since 2011. As volunteer coordinator for the East police district, Ricardez is responsible for numerous tasks, including tracking volunteer hours, assisting Citizen Police Academy groups and helping to train new volunteers.
So far this year, Ricardez has volunteered more than 170 hours with the Arlington Police Department. Overall, he's logged more than 2,068 hours since he began volunteering for the City of Arlington about 5 1/2 years ago.
