Collegiate auto racing teams from across the United States will converge on The University of Texas at Arlington campus soon to compete against the clock at the 17th annual Texas Autocross Weekend.

UT Arlington's world-renowned Formula SAE racing team, which has won eight U.S. and three international championships, will be joined by other collegiate racing teams from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and New Mexico.

Racing begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 8 and at 9 a.m. Sunday, July 9 at Lot 49, which is located on the southeast corner of Mitchell and Cooper Streets on the UTA campus. Parking to watch the races is located east of the racetrack.
