WWE Superstars Visit Children at the North Texas Youth Education Town in Arlington
Just days away from taking the stage at WrestleMania 32, a handful of WWE Superstars played games, ate pizza and signed autographs with children at the North Texas Youth Education Town in Arlington.
Dallas Cowboys players and cheerleaders joined WWE Superstars Mark Henry, Darren Young, Goldust and Jack Swagger during the visit at the YET on Wednesday afternoon.
"To see the kids have fun, it's impossible not to laugh and smile," Mark Henry said. "I'll continue to do it as long as I can just to see the smiles and the little kids have a good time."
Besides getting to visit with the wrestling stars, the children also made paper wrestling championship belts. "It was really fun to meet everyone from TV," said Genaro Alvarez, one of the children at the center. "It's like a dream come true."
WrestleMania 32 will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Sunday.
Located at 712 W. Abram St. at the Salvation Army, the YET center was partially funded by the National Football League as a Super Bowl XLV legacy project. The Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation matched the NFL's $1 million donation.
