The City of Arlington's Department of Public Works and Transportation anticipates starting construction on Abram Street between SH360 and the east City Limits (Great Southwest Parkway) in July 2014. Improvements include rebuilding the street to a concrete 6 lane divided thoroughfare with median landscaping, streetlights, sidewalks, storm drainage, and water and sanitary sewer renewals.
A construction briefing meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Council Briefing Room located on the 3rd Floor, City Hall, 101 W. Abram Street, Arlington, 76010. This is a come and go meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information and answer questions you may have concerning the proposed construction. Enclosed with this notice is a summary of the project with a location map for your information.
