Newly elected City council member Charlie Parker was sworn-in Thursday afternoon at the City Secretary's office. Parker, winner of the June 23rd runoff election, took the oath of office with his wife Jackie at his side. Mayor Cluck and City Manager Trey Yelverton were also in attendance. Council Member Parker is being briefed on council activities in preparation for his first official meeting on August 7. This is the first time all seats on the council have been filled since Council Member Gene Patrick resigned citing health reasons last November.
