Tornado Damaged

Effective April 4, police officials will begin allowing credentialed access to the affected disaster areas in Arlington.

Residents

Residents will be issued temporary access passes valid for Wednesday, April 4 only. The temporary access passes can be obtained at the controlled access points into the affected neighborhoods. To obtain this temporary access pass, persons must provide proof of residency. Various documents can be utilized to prove residency such as state ID, vehicle registration data, insurance cards, utility bills, mail, etc.

Permanent resident access passes will be required starting Thursday, April 5. These access passes will be issued at the Arlington West Police Service Station, 2060 W. Green Oaks Blvd.

Contractors/Laborers

All contractors and/or laborers will NOT be allowed to access secured areas that have suffered damage without getting a contractor's access pass from the Arlington South Police Service Station, 1030 SW Green Oaks Blvd.

Temporary access passes are NOT an endorsement of service providers or a recommendation of contractors. Homeowners are encouraged to do their due diligence. Arlington is trying to make every effort to mitigate the possibility of solicitors taking advantage of those who are vulnerable. If there are any issues with businesses, it is recommended that homeowners file any complaints with the Better Business Bureau.
