Spring cleaning? Here are some ways the City can help.

The City of Arlington and Republic Services currently offer residents a free and convenient way to dispose of many bulky items. Republic Services will pick up the following items curbside free of charge:

• Furniture, appliances, TVs, wooden fence panels cut in half, bundled tree limbs*
• Call 817-317-2000 to schedule your pickup.
• Bulky item collection is limited to one cubic yard each collection day.

Additionally, Arlington residents can make two free trips to the Arlington Landfill each year:

1. Go to webapps.arlingtontx.gov/tmp/environment
2. Enter your Arlington water account number
3. Print Landfill Coupon
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3, to get your second coupon

*Tree limbs and brush must be cut in 4 foot lengths, trimmed, bundled, and stacked with large ends toward the curb. Bundles may not exceed 50 lbs. For larger jobs, Republic Services offers discounted chipping services to Arlington residents. For rates and scheduling, call 817-317-2000.
