Arlington Animal Services currently has one of the "coolest' dogs in town! Check out Eddie, the current "Dog of the Week!' Eddie is a three-year old, American Blue Heeler mix, that weighs 40 pounds, and he is currently awaiting his new home! Eddie was found wandering along Highway 287, which is not a safe place for a dog to be, so a concerned citizen picked him up and brought him to the Animal Services Center for his own safety. Eddie is a huge fetch player, so if you are looking for a dog to play a great game of fetch, look no further - here he is! Eddie is food motivated (which is a great training tool), and will sit on command for a treat. He seems to be extremely intelligent, which is another one of his positive qualities! Just imagine what else you can teach this boy to do, with proper training, and time. He seems to get along well with other dogs, and especially likes giving them kisses. He also seems to get along great with children - he seemed gentle with a five-year old. Highly intelligent, sweet, playful and outgoing, what else could you possibly ask for in a dog? So, come and meet Eddie today! He is in Dog Adoptions (D.A.) 8, and his ID number is 18828494. He is ready to show you all of his great and loving qualities, and go home with you today! Just another plus - Eddie is Heartworm negative! As with all adoptions from Arlington Animal Services, his adoption fee includes his neutering, all of his core shots, and 30 days worth of prepaid pet insurance! This boy has so many great traits you simply cannot go wrong by adopting him today!
