Steve and Mary Kunkel have volunteered with the Arlington Animal Services for nearly five years. Steve is a dependable volunteer who will come in on Saturdays to assist with group volunteers and tours. Steve also is the "fix-it man" around the shelter and is called upon when we need something handled quickly.

His wife Mary is our Laundry Coordinator, who is just as dependable as her husband. Even after 35 years of marriage , this power couple enjoys traveling around the globe and taking care of the animals at Arlington Animal Service Center. These two volunteers go hand in hand, which is why we are honoring them as Volunteer of the Month.
