Kaila Wherry, a senior member of the varsity cheerleading and competitive cheer squads at Juan Seguin High School, has been selected as the City of Arlington's November 2014 Student-Athlete of the Month.

Wherry, who takes several AP courses, currently carries a 3.97 overall GPA on 4.0 scale. During her high school career, Kaila has been a dedicated member of the National Honor Society and has served in several student government leadership positions at Seguin. Earlier this year, Kaila was named a Richard Greene Scholar.
