If your morning commute includes Cooper Street in central Arlington, make other plans for Friday.
The UPRR advises the rail crossing at Cooper St. will close Friday morning at 6:30 a.m. Drivers will need to make plans for an alternate route and expect delays. The Center Street rail crossing is scheduled to close at 9 a.m. followed by the expected closure of Mesquite at noon. These closures are in addition to Davis Street which will remain closed through the MLK holiday weekend.
Collins Street and Stadium Drive will close on Saturday.
