An educational festival hosted by Arlington ISD on February 16 might be one way to alleviate some of the stress involved with preparing for college. "Destination Success' is a free family college prep event which offers the tools AISD junior high and high school students need to succeed in college.

Last year, AISD seniors were awarded more than $31 million in scholarships to attend college and universities around the country.

This event will feature a series of activities and presentations including:

  • College prep and financial aid presentations (English and Spanish)
  • Deferred action informational session
  • College fair with representatives from local colleges and universities
  • And a free breakfast (served between 8 and 9 a.m.)
