Is your pet ready to be a star? This is your chance to make your pet famous and put them in the spotlight.

Arlington Animal Services Center (AASC) has launched the 2014 Pet Calendar Photo Contest to help raise money for your local shelter.

There are two great ways you can participate this year. Now through September 30, simply visit the AASC Photo Fundraiser Contest page to:

1. Make a tax deductible donation to the shelter by uploading photos of your favorite adopted or rescued pet for $10.00 per upload, and/or
2. Vote for your favorite pet for a tax deductible donation of only $1.00 per vote.

Each time someone votes on their favorite pet or picture the Arlington Animal Services Center will receive an additional $1 to go toward educational animal programs for our Arlington youth. The voting period will end at 11:59:59 on September 30, 2013.

Winning Photo Contest entries will become part of a colorful, full-sized calendar to honor and celebrate adopted or rescued pets. This will allow you to enjoy the contest results throughout the year, and provide additional funding to help support the Arlington Animal Services Center.
