The City of Arlington's Department of Public Works and Transportation anticipates starting construction on Bowman Springs Road between IH 20 and Pennsylvania Avenue in September 2013. Improvements include widening to a 5-lane concrete street with new storm drain systems, streetlights, and sidewalks.
A construction briefing meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of Arlington Police Department West District Office located at 2060 W. Green Oaks Boulevard, Arlington, 76013 (map enclosed). This is a come and go meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information and answer questions you may have concerning the proposed construction. Also enclosed with this notice is a summary of the project with a location map for your information.
