Brothers Grimm With a Twist

Brothers Grimm fairy tales will never be the same as young students from Create Arts Theatre & School presentBrother Grimm Spectaculathon, a fast-paced rollicking ride for the entire family. The narrators and actors attempt to combine all 209 Brother Grimm using a contemporary, screwball, irreverent style. Show opens Friday. Tickets start at $8.

UTA Mavs vs Seattle University

Catch the UT Arlington women's basketball team as it takes on Seattle University at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday in beautiful College Park Center. This is the team's first season playing in the Western Athletic Conference. $6 adults; $3 children and students.

Building a Dream Home

Experience the process of building - and what it is like living in - a home designed by one of America's greatest architects. Frank Lloyd Wright's Samara: A Mid-Century Dream Home, which is currently on display at the Arlington Museum of Art, explores the creation of a Wright house through the eyes of a client. 10am-5pm on Friday and Saturday; 1pm -5pm on Sunday. Free.

Be a Good Pet Owner

Learn how to take care of Fido or Fifi during Saturday's "Responsible Pet Owner' class being offered at the Arlington Animal Services Center from 3-4pm. The first 40 people in attendance will receive a certificate for a half-price adoption. Free.

Bird Lovers Wanted

Help measure the bird population in Arlington at the Great Backyard Bird Count. Go on guided bird hikes and enjoy activities and games at the River Legacy Living Science Center from 10am-2pm on Saturday. Free.

Supercross at Cowboys Stadium

See some of the world's best riders during Saturday's Monster Energy AMA Supercross at Cowboys Stadium. Since Monster Energy Supercross first debuted at Cowboys Stadium in 2010, an average of 51,500 fans each year have watched some of the top names in the game. Tickets start at $40 for adults; $20 for children.
