The Arlington Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee is looking for the best artwork and scribes the city has to offer. The 2013 MLK "Sharing the Dream" Student Art and Essay Contest is now open! This annual competition is for students who are attending Arlington schools or residing within the city limits of Arlington. Cash awards and scholarships will be presented to the top three winning artists and essay writers. The theme is: "Sharing the Dream: Speak Out. Be Heard. Change the World!" The entry deadline is Nov. 2.
