MegaFest

If you're heading to MegaFest in downtown Dallas this week, let the new Metro ArlingtonXpress get you there. With more than 50,000 people expected to attend this year's event, traffic is sure to be heavy near the venues hosting MegaFest events.

For only $5 roundtrip, you can take MAX from the College Park District on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington to the TRE's CentrePort/DFW Station. That's where riders can take a TRE train to Union Station in Dallas. Once you arrive, head over to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center or take a DART train to the American Airlines Center to take part in the festivities.

Buses will run between 5:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday (sorry, no Saturday service), with pick-ups and drop-offs scheduled at multiple times throughout the day. MAX will depart and arrive on the southwest corner of UTA Boulevard and Center Street. Free parking is available in the First Baptist Church surface lot just across the street from the bus stop.

Exact change is required when boarding MAX. Passengers can enjoy the free Wi-Fi onboard or utilize the bike rack to maximize their MAX riding experience.
